The all-new Maxima earned a spot on this year\u2019s list due to its innovative and stylish new interior design complete with a fighter jet-inspired driver\u2019s cockpit and an array of premium-crafted high-quality materials used throughout. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There were 47 nominated vehicles considered for the 2016 list and WardsAuto editors spend February and March evaluating each vehicle to narrow the selections down to ten. During the evaluation process, each vehicle interior was scored based on a list of specific factors that included driver information, fit-and-finish, comfort, aesthetics, safety, materials, and ergonomics. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">WardsAuto<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> editors have said that the line continues to blur between luxury and mainstream brands in terms of premium materials, connectivity, driver-assistance and infotainment systems \u2013 and the new Maxima certainly fits that positioning,&#8221; said Michael Bunce, vice president, Product Planning, Nissan North America, Inc. &#8220;Nissan products are developed in a global collaboration and so was the new Maxima.
