We know many of you will be hitting the road for some well-deserved fun in the sun, but before you do that there is one task that you really have to do, and that\u2019s clean out your vehicle. I know, I know, it sounds awful, but I promise we have some helpful tips that are going to make it easy as pie. Don\u2019t believe us? Check it out for yourself below! Oh, and if you haven\u2019t serviced your vehicle in a while it will be a good idea to schedule service before you hit the road too, but don\u2019t stress, when you take advantage of our service specials you can save big on service too!<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Step 1: Sort and clean<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Take everything out of the car, including car seats, music, and miscellaneous items stored in the glovebox and door pockets.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Don&#8217;t forget the trunk and cargo area!<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0Organize the rest of the items into three piles: stuff you use all the time, things you use occasionally and items you might need in an emergency. Whatever doesn&#8217;t fall into these categories should be stored in your home or garage.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Step 2: Analyze\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ask yourself, &#8220;How do I use my car?&#8221;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Are you the taxi driver? Maybe you\u2019re a parent with two toddlers in car seats or salesman who travels with a trunk load of samples. Whatever it is, figure it out.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Step 3: Prioritize<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Depending upon your needs, go through your three piles and prioritize the most important items in each group<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And just like seasonal clothes in a closet, many items such as ice scrapers and emergency kits should be stored back into your vehicle\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Step 4: Contain your needs<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Loose objects in the car lead to disorganization and mess. In the event of a sudden stop or a crash, they can also damage your car or, worse, injure your occupants.
