Kelley Blue Book’s KBB.com has released their annual list of the “10 Best Back-to-School Cars” and for the second straight year the Nissan Versa Note has been included on the list. The criteria for inclusion on this list is simple, a vehicle has to be safe and stylish and also be offered with a starting MSRP no higher than $20,000.
The 2016 Nissan Versa Note is available in five trim levels that are all powered by a 1.6-Liter DOHC 16-Valve 4-Cylinder Engine. This engine is paired with one of two transmission options, either a 5-Speed Manual Transmission or the available Nissan Xtronic Transmission. This model also has a starting MSRP of $14,230*.
“We are honored to be recognized by the editors of Kelley Blue Book for the second school year in a row,” said Dan Mohnke, vice president, Nissan Chief Marketing Manager & Marketing Operations. “Versa Note offers a great combination of available safety and security features, combined with an affordable price. It also has the sporty style and roomy, versatile interior that is perfect for the demands of campus life.”
