When you clean your car, where does cleaning your steering wheel rank? Itās probably close to the bottom if itās on the list at all. But really, it should be close to the top. If you think about it your hands are on the wheel the most out of any part of your car and they are covered in body oil, lotion, dirt, sweat, germs, and a host of other things. Itās easy to see why you need to clean your steering wheel regularly.
Luckily, the cleaning process is made up of two simple steps. First, using a damp cotton cloth with a small amount of leather cleaner, wipe away any dirt and grime on the surface. Rinse the cloth and wipe away the cleaner before drying with a soft towel. The second step is to rub on some leather conditioner with your hands. Let it sit for 30 minutes then wipe away anything that didnāt soak in. Use prepackaged quick wipes between deep cleans to cut down on surface grime.
Easy, right?!
