Reasons To Buy This November Goodbye 2020’s Hello 2021’s As we approach the end of the year, new model year vehicles make their way onto dealerships lots This means dealerships must make room for the incoming inventory. This means finding unbeatable incentives, offers, and savings on remaining inventory shouldn’t be too hard! Thanksgiving/Black Friday Deals Thanksgiving/Black Friday is known for producing HUGE DEALS on just about anything you can purchase. This is no different for car dealerships. It’s not guaranteed, but most dealerships will do a Black Friday savings event to offer money off new vehicles, dropping lease offers, or even low financing. We suggest taking some time to do research on the vehicle you’re looking for, and seeing what kind of sales are being offered during these events! Compact & Mid-Sized Sedan Savings Because of the winter months, SUVs are in high demand, which means you won’t find huge incentives on these types of vehicles. However, if you’re looking for a compact/ mid-sized sedan or hatchback, you might get lucky with deals because fewer shoppers are looking for them this time of year. Sales Quotas Every dealership has a year-end goal, aka a number of vehicles they want to be sold. With the year coming to an end, they will really be pushing to hit their goal. This is good news for shoppers because the dealership might be offering bug deals to help move inventory to meet their quotas! Find Your Dream Nissan Here!

Tips For Keeping Your Battery Healthy This Winter | Frederick, MD

Have you checked on your car battery recently? If your battery is 3-5 years old, it might be time to think about replacing your battery. However, even if your battery isn’t that old, it’s still important to clean it up and maintain it to keep its lifespan longer. Below you will find tips and tricks for prolonging your battery life. And if you find your battery is in need of a repair or replacement, we invite you to head over to our website to schedule your service appointment and browse our service specials to keep your service in your budget! Get Your Battery Tested: Is your car battery approaching 3 years old? Then it might be time to get it to check! We suggest stopping into our service department and having one of our mechanics test your battery for you. The cold temperatures tend to drain your car battery, so now is the time to ensure your battery is in shape for the winter months ahead! Examine & Clean Your Battery Corrosion and build up on battery terminals materialize over time. This build-up can keep your car from starting and is a poor conductor of electricity. Clean off any corrosion with a stiff wire brush. Make sure the battery connections are clean and tight. A dirty battery connection will weaken the charge. You should also look to see that the fasteners and cables are in good shape. Don’t Leave Your Car Sitting With some of us still working from home, you might not be driving your vehicle around much these days. However, driving your car keeps a charge in your battery. So if you haven’t driven your car in a few days, turn on your vehicle and take it for a spin around the neighborhood! Replace Your Battery At the end of the day, sometimes we just have to replace the batteries. If the battery in your car is 3-5 years old, it might be time for a new one. If your car shows any signs of a struggle when starting the engine, get your battery replaced. Be sure to take a peek at our service incentives to see if we are currently offering any incentives for battery maintenance/repairs/ or replacements Schedule Your Fall Service Appointment Today!

Are Your Nissan Tires Ready For Fall? | Frederick, MD

Fall is here and before we know it the temperature outside will be dropping low, and for those that don’t know. So will your tire’s PSI! Your tire’s PSI is really important when it comes to the handling of your drive and the safety of you and your passengers. To avoid an accident or damage to your Nissan, we suggest keeping an eye on your tire pressure. How do you do that? We’re so glad you asked! Below you’ll find everything you need to know about inflating your tires to the right PSI and some tips and tricks for keeping your tires in tip-top shape this fall. As always, if you need assistance with your service, be sure to schedule your service appointment with us today! Why it’s important to check your tire pressure… Your safety Longer lasting tires Improved handling and control Reduced risk of accidents and blowouts Better fuel economy Reduced carbon footprint Tips for Checking and Filling Your Tires When the temperature drops, we suggest checking your tire pressure. Outside temperatures can cause tire pressure to vary by as much as 1 psi per 10 degrees. What’s the right PSI level? The recommended PSI for your vehicle’s tires is determined by the vehicle’s manufacturer and the recommended tire size. You can find this information in your owner’s manual or on the placard inside of the door edge, glove box door, or fuel door. In most newer vehicles, your vehicle will alert you when your vehicle’s tires fall below the recommended PSI Do NOT use the max PSI that is printed on the tire sidewall. The pressure amount on the tire is normally the maximum allowed pressure. Over-inflation can lead to poor handling and comfort, overheating, and blowouts. How to properly inflate your tires. If you do not have air at home, most gas stations have an air pump for you to use. Remove dust caps from the tires’ valve stems. Insert your tire gauge into the tire valve and leave it in for a few seconds When you remove it, the gauge will provide a PSI reading If the tire gauge’s recorded reading is higher than the manufacturer-recommended rating, press the gauge tip on the valve stem until you hear air leak out. Check the tire pressure again. If the reading is lower than recommended, you will need to fill the tire with air. When filling the tire, firmly press the air-hose into the valve, as you did with the tire gauge When you think you’ve added or let out enough air, check the pressure a few times with the gauge. Return the valve dust caps. Schedule Your Nissan Fall Service Now

How To Teach Your Teen How To Drive 101 | Frederick, MD

Do you have a new driver in the house? Perhaps you’re the proud parent of a new driver and you’re looking to teach them a few tips and tricks of being behind the wheel this spring. Luckily for you, we have a few of our own tips waiting for you right here on this week’s blog. And who better to take advice from than the car people? There is no one better! So, let’s dive into those teen driving tips and if you have any questions, give our team a shout. We are here for you and your teen driver! Stay Calm, Stay Alert This is one of our most important tips for teen drivers. Being behind the wheel can be a bit nerve-racking but it doesn’t have to be. It’s important to teach them to stay calm but always stay alert. The road is ever-changing and it’s crucial to be alert of your surroundings and stay calm to ensure that you stay safe. Practice Hazards Road hazards are an important part of driving. We encourage you to practice passing or encountering road hazards best you can. Whether it’s neighborhood interactions, road construction, or animals, it’s a good idea to be proactive and practice a variety of driving situations your teen may encounter. Take It On The Highway This might be the scariest part of being behind the wheel as a new, young driver. We encourage you to take your teen onto a highway in the right lane for them to get a feel for traffic flow, road etiquette, and how to merge correctly. As always, make sure your teen is prepared and we recommend avoiding rush-hour until your driver is completely comfortable. Keep A Checklist Make a checklist for your teen and each time they successfully accomplish their task, check it off. This will help keep track of their progress and it will also serve as a way to keep them accountable on some of the things they need to work on as a driver. Upgrade Their Ride Today!
