2011 Nissan 370Z Window Switch Recall

Nissan is conducting a Voluntary Safety Recall campaign on approximately 650 Model Year 2011 Nissan 370Z vehicles in the U.S. to replace the power window switches.  It was recently determined that the potentially affected vehicles may have been equipped with out-of-specification power window switch controllers.

Nissan plans to begin notifying affected customers later in November.

If you own a 2011 Nissan 370Z and believe you are effected OR have a received communication from NissanUSA, please contact our service department to have this recall taken care of.

IMPORTANT: Dealers must not sell any affected vehicles in their inventory until the campaign repair is performed.  370Z vehicles subject to this voluntary safety recall campaign can be identified through two methods:

Service Comm – Beginning November 3, dealer service departments can complete an inquiry on Service Comm – Campaign I.D.  P1247 to determine an affected vehicle.

Nissan is currently developing a campaign bulletin with repair instructions.  The campaign TSB will be available by November 11, 2011.  A campaign update will be provided at that time.

Nissan is currently procuring the repair parts needed for this campaign.  Dealers can expect to receive an initial shipment by November 15, 2011.
