The Nissan Frontier is loved and respected by truck enthusiasts today, and in one Retro Review by Motorweek they take a look back at the 1998 Frontier, reminiscing on what made it great. This compact pickup was aimed at someone who wanted to drive their truck for both work and play, and the frontier filled the role for that perfectly. When the people at Motorweek reviewed the truck, they were pleasantly surprised for a variety of reasons. The truck actually drove a lot better than expected with agile handling and strong off-road performance thanks to the available 4WD.
