Strategic Vision has named the 2016 Nissan Maxima as the highest rated full-size car in their Total Quality Impact (TQI) Awards. This model beat out the other vehicles in its segment by achieving a total evaluation score of 720 out of 1,000, a total that was significantly higher than the average score for the segment. The main vehicle factors that earned the Maxima this impressive rating included its thoughtful engineering, NVH (noise, vibration and harshness), power and pickup, safety, style, durability, workmanship, and comfort.
“The 2016 Maxima, the flagship of our popular sedan lineup, sets the standard for style, performance, and technology – all aspects that were acknowledged by the Maxima owners participating in the Strategic Vision TQI study,” said Dan Mohnke, vice president, Nissan Chief Marketing Manager & Marketing Operations. “We are particularly pleased by the high rankings in the emotional measures of the study, reflecting the Maxima’s positioning as a true driver’s car.”
