April is officially over and the Nissan division has announced that they set a new sales record for April making this a rather successful beginning to the second sales quarter of the year. The new record-setting total was 113,429 units, a 14 percent increase over total sales from April in 2015.
New April sales records were set by the Rogue and Altima as well with Rogue sales reaching 23,173 units up 7 percent and Altima sales reaching 28,484 units up 29 percent.
More April highlights include Sentra sales reaching 19,145 units up 12 percent, Maxima sales reaching 4,573 units up 170 percent and Murano sales reaching 6,232 units up 51 percent. Â
