YOKOHAMA, Japan (Oct. 6, 2016) – For the fifth straight year, Nissan has been recognized as one of the world’s most valuable brands according to the prestigious Best Global Brands Study by Interbrand, the world-leading brand consultancy. This year, Nissan was ranked as the 43rd most valuable brand in the world – an increase over last year’s ranking of 49th. Nissan now has a brand value of over  billion. This year’s ranking puts Nissan as the 4th fastest growing brand in the world.

In the most recent Best Global Brands Study by Interbrand, Nissan has risen from 49th place to 43rd place in just a year on a list of rising brands. They were also recognized as being the 4th fastest growing brand and the fastest growing automotive brand.

Not only is this a great achievement for the company, it also shows that Nissan’s continuing efforts to drive solid business results by increasing brand visibility are paying off. Nissan has been more proactive in building excitement for the brand, its vehicles, and its futuristic technologies like ProPilot.
