Tonight at 8 p.m. EST the Emmy-Award Winning singing competition, “The Voice” will return to NBC for the start of its 10th Season and Nissan will also be returning as the premiere automotive sponsor for the competition for the fourth season. Through this partnership, the brand will be releasing a number of online and broadcast spots that will feature “The Voice” coaches Adam Levine and Blake Shelton and will begin airing next month.
“Nissan’s marketing strategy is about leveraging cultural moments, which is why we are excited about integrating our brand into a show where fans are so passionate that the episodes are talked about around the dinner table, in college dorm rooms and at the water cooler,” said Jeremy Tucker, vice president, Nissan Marketing Communications & Media. “Last year during Season 9 of ‘The Voice,’ we saw more than 300,000 Build-A-Team entries, and more than 10 million video vignette views. Nissan again is going to bring fans close to the excitement of ‘The Voice.”
In addition to the new spots, Nissan will also continue to sponsor The Voice Official App which includes a number of features such as the “Build-A-Team” in-app sweepstakes that allows the fans to put together their own team just like one of the coaches.
