Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) Alumni David Guzman and Kevin McMahon recently returned from their ultimate outdoor adventure through the Alaskan wilderness which took place with the Nissan Titan custom created for this trip though Project Titan. This trip was nearly a year in the making and was Nissan’s way of trying to give back to two men who risked their lives defending their country. The project was uniquely interactive from start to finish with Nissan fans having the ability to provide input and suggestions via various social platforms with the #projecttitan tag.  The entire 10 day trip was documented and will be released as a youtube series sometime this fall.
Both Guzman and McMahon expressed their sincere gratitude at having been chosen to take part in this once-in-a-lifetime adventure.
“The most cherished moment was when we came up on a ridge and I was driving, and we parked the truck. And all of a sudden, from the bottom of a tree line across the bay we saw an American eagle come up. What could be more picture perfect, being in a truck like that, that view, seeing that American eagle? It meant a lot,” said David Guzman, WWP alumnus.
“On behalf of all of my brothers and sisters in the Wounded Warrior Project, and service members, I can’t say thank you enough to any of the organizations. To have been selected and then to complete this adventure – I have got memories that will last more than a lifetime,” said McMahon.
