Autotrader has just named the 2015 Nissan Versa Note to its “10 Best Cars for Recent College Graduates” list. These cars rightfully earned a spot on the list for not only their reasonable prices and savings at the pump, but also for their “desirable technology features and stylistic appeal”.
The first Versa Note was originally introduced last year and this year a new sports model, the Versa Note SR, was introduced as well. Getting up to 40 miles per gallon (X-Tronic Transmission equipped models), at the MSRP of only $14,180*, the Note is fuel efficient and also won’t kill your wallet.
“Any time someone goes through a major life change, such as graduating college, they need to determine if their current ride makes sense for their lifestyle, from both a financial and functional perspective,” said Brian Moody, site editor for Autotrader. “For example, while that hand-me-down SUV from your parents was nice when you turned 16, you may want to opt for a safer, more fuel-efficient car as you transition into the working world.”
While similar to the Versa Sedan, the Versa Note has many of its own qualities, including a five-door hatchback design. Many technological features also add to its diversity. An available Divide-N-Hide® Adjustable Floor (adjustable rear load floor height) allows you to pack areas of the Note that you wouldn’t be able to pack otherwise. NissanConnectTM with Navigation and Mobile Apps is perfect for those always enjoyable trips with your friends.
The Versa Note is available in five different trims. The Versa Note S, featuring a five-speed manual transmission, and the S Plus, SV, SR, and SL featuring a next-generation Nissan X-Tronic Transmission.
