5 Warning Signs That You Need Need New Tires

1. Tread Depth: If your tires are near or below 2/32 inch in thickness, they’re too worn to drive on. You can measure your treads with a gauge or even a common penny!

2. Tread Wear Indicator Bar: Built into new tires, these indicators appear as flat rubber bars running perpendicular to the direction of your tire tread when your tires are worn down. If more than one or two of these bars are visible on your tire it means your treads are getting low. 

3. Cracks In Your Tire’s Sidewalls: Cracks and Cuts on your tire’s sidewalls could lead to a leak, or worse, a blow out. 

4. Tire Bulges/Blisters: If your tire has any bulges or blisters it’s an indication that that area of your tire has weakened and could potentially blow out. 

5. Excessive Vibration: If you experience excessive vibration when you drive it could mean that your tires are misaligned or unbalanced, or your shock absorbers are starting to go. Either way it’s time to bring your car into a shop to have it checked out.

Stop Foggy Windows: 

• Foggy windows are no stranger in the winter season. And they can lead to potentially dangerous situations. Roll down your windows to quickly defog those windows or keep a clean chalkboard eraser in your vehicle to wipe away the fog. 

Keep Yourself From Getting Stuck:
