Win a Box of Nissan Chocolates For Your Mom
Motherâs Day is next Sunday and Nissan is looking to help out their customers in their search for the perfect gift and encouraging them to share their favorite mom stories. The brand has started a new social media campaign where fans can share their favorite awesome-mom stories for a chance to win a limited edition #BoxOfNissans chocolates. These chocolates are exclusive to this offer and will not be available in store, so if your mom is a Nissan fan then you will want to take advantage of this!
Each of these boxes will contain fifteen chocolates that have been designed after three different Nissan vehicles. They include five white-chocolate  GT-Rs, five milk-chocolate Rogues, and five dark-chocolate Maximas. Fans can participate in the contest by submitting their story on Twitter using the hashtags #BoxOfNissans and #Contest and on Facebook or Instagram by commenting on the activation posts.

The Research and Review page for the 2016 Nissan Murano has finally been released on the Younger Nissan of Frederick website for interested customers in Frederick, Germantown, Hagerstown, and Gaithersburg, MD! Nissan has once again partnered with the Heisman Trophy Trust to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity in building a home for a deserving family in need. This is now the fourth consecutive year that the three organizations have teamed up for this cause and this year the recipients of the new home will be Nashville residents, Mohammed Berema and his wife, Khadija Aldom.
Nissan and the Heisman Trust kicked off the first day of construction with this yearâs Heisman participants: Tim Brown (Notre Dame), Mark Ingram (Alabama), George Rogers (South Carolina), Billy Sims (Oklahoma) and Marcus Mariota (Oregon). The day before construction officially began, the five Heisman winners held a special youth football clinic at the new Nissan Stadium. The clinic included participation from 200 student members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee.

Nissan Vehicles Take Skills To Soccer Field
It is no secret that the vehicles in the Nissan lineup offer an impressive level of versatility and smooth drivability, but Nissan recently decided to put those skills to use in a whole different way by pinning them up against each other on the soccer field. As part of the brandâs role as the global automotive partner of the UEFA Champions League, they teamed up with a few professional athletes and drivers in order to recreate an official UEFA Championships League match using Nissan vehicle. The match included two teams of four that were made up of the Nissan NP300 Frontier, Nissan X-Trail, Nissan Qashqai, and the Nissan March. All eight vehicles were piloted by a professional driver and co-piloted by an athlete that provided their expertise for game strategy.
While this may have been just for fun, the match followed the official protocol for UEFA Champions League games and included a referee, a lineup presentation, opening ceremony, halftime, and closing-time.

WardsAuto Named 2016 Maxima To 10 Best Interior List
WardsAuto has released their â10 Best Interiorsâ list for 2016 and the 2016 Nissan Maxima was selected as one of the vehicles to be included. The all-new Maxima earned a spot on this yearâs list due to its innovative and stylish new interior design complete with a fighter jet-inspired driverâs cockpit and an array of premium-crafted high-quality materials used throughout.
There were 47 nominated vehicles considered for the 2016 list and WardsAuto editors spend February and March evaluating each vehicle to narrow the selections down to ten. During the evaluation process, each vehicle interior was scored based on a list of specific factors that included driver information, fit-and-finish, comfort, aesthetics, safety, materials, and ergonomics.

Nissan Breaks Drifting World Record With GT-R
A New Guinness World Record for the fastest drift has been set using a specially-tuned My16 Nissan GT-R driven by Japanese drift champion Masato Kawabata. He broke the record by drilling at a 30-degree angle at an impressive record-breaking speed of 304.96 km/hr. This GT-R has been specially-tuned to an outstanding 1380 horsepower by GReddy Trust technicians who also adapted this vehicle to be rear-wheel drive. Kawabata was given only three attempts to break the record, but luckily he succeeded and you can see the exciting moment for yourself in the video below.

Nissan March Sales Reach Record High
A new March sales record has been set by Nissan after achieving a monthly total of 149,784 units which was also 13 percent higher than sales from March of 2015. Along with the record-setting sales in March, the brand has also reported that their total sales for the entire first quarter are 10 percent higher than last year with total sales reaching 333,786 units.
Three of the brandâs top models also set new March records. These models included the Sentra with sales up 23 percent to reach 26,201 units, the Rogue with sales up 1 percent to reach 27,713 units, and the Versa with sales up 11.7 percent to reach 16,244 units.
A few other notable sales performances for March included the Murano up 56 percent to reach 8,657 units, and the Maxima up 139 percent to reach 6,588 units.

Nissan Pranks Chris Forsberg With NV Cargo Van
Nissan has gone through some extreme measures to prove the strength and durability of the NV Cargo Van by performing more than 7,000 tests and putting it through a series of tough tasks. A few of these tasks include it being driven through the desert by Carl Weathers and Mickey Rourke in âThe Deliveryâ, and having a guitar smashed on the hood by Bret Michaels in âTough Love.â Therefore, Nissan knew that it would be up to the challenge when they decided to pull an April Fools Prank on Formula Drift icon Chris Forsberg and have him drive a NV Cargo Van with a few performance modifications through a tough obstacle course.
