Nissan Announces Maxima Midnight Edition Package
After a strong and positive response to the Nissan Maxima’s Midnight accessories package that debuted last summer, Nissan has announced they will be adding a new Midnight Edition Package available only for the 2016 Maxima SR model. By making it a factory installed option, customers are able to save $1,000 on ordering and installation fees.
The Midnight Edition takes the sportiness of the 2016 Nissan Maxima SR to a new level with black 19-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, black sport spoiler, black rear diffuser, and Charcoal premium leather-appointed interior with Alcantara® inserts. It’s available in five different color combinations like Super Black, Coulis Red, Pearl White, Brilliant Silver, or Deep Blue Pearl. You can get this package for an affordable extra $1,195 over the starting MSRP of $37,770.

Nissan TITAN XD & Maxima Awarded By MotorWeek
The all-new Nissan TITAN XD and the all-new Nissan Maxima were named as the top winners in their categories in the MotorWeek 2016 Drivers’ Choice Awards. These two models will be featured along with the other winners in a special episode of MotorWeek that will air this month. These awards have been presented each year since 1983 and they reflect the best vehicle in each category that with the best driving experience, performance capabilities, practicality, technology, and dollar value.

The 2016 Nissan TITAN XD gets its power by one of three powertrain options, one of which is a 310-horsepower Cummins® 5.0L V8 Turbo Diesel Engine that is paired to a heavy-duty 6-speed Aisin automatic transmission. Additional options available on this model include five trim levels, three cab configurations, and two frame sizes.
The 2016 Nissan Maxima is powered by a 300-horsepower 3.5-liter VQ-series V6 engine paired with an Xtronic transmission. This model is offered in five trim levels and with available features and technologies such as 11-speaker Bose® premium audio system, Predictive Forward Collision Warning (PFCW), NissanConnect Services powered by SiriusXM® (SiriusXM® subscription required, sold separately), Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC), Driver Attention Alert (DAA) system, Around View® Monitor (AVM) with Moving Object Detection (MOD), Forward Emergency Braking (FEB), Blind Spot Warning (BSW), Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), and NissanConnect with navigation.

The 2016 Nissan Pathfinder has been given a complete redesign with an all-new look and feel for the interior that now offers an almond color scheme with beige and black accent materials. Nissan Division Announces January Sales
The first month of 2016 is officially in the books and the Nissan Division has announced that their sales saw a 3 percent increase, ending the month with 97,220 units sold. In addition to the overall monthly increase the brand has reported impressive sales for several individual models as well.
The biggest increase of the month came from the Maxima which increased by 105.9 percent to reach 4,415 units. Other notable results include the Murano increasing 46 percent to reach 5,516 units, the Sentra increasing 12 percent to reach 16,144 units, and the Titan increasing 21 percent to reach 937 units. Additionally, the Rogue and Pathfinder both recorded their best-ever January results with sales reaching 19,762 units and 6,415 units respectively.

Nissan has developed yet another seven-seat vehicle, but not the kind you might expect from an automobile manufacturer. This new vehicle is a bobsleigh, and it just recently took its inaugural run at the Olympic track at Innsbruck, Austria. It is capable of reaching up to 100 km/h even with the weight of seven fully-grown men.
“We wanted to give the opportunity to experience first-hand the adventurous nature of our crossover segment through the thrill and excitement of Olympic bobsleighing,” said Darryl Scriven, Design Manager Nissan Design Europe.
When you look at the two side-by-side you can see that the 2016 Nissan Rogue was clearly the inspiration for the X-Trail bobsleigh, which has come a long way since its humble beginnings in 19th century Switzerland. Video Gallery for 2016 Nissan Sentra
The Sentra has been one of the best-selling Nissan vehicles since the release of the seventh-generation back in fall 2012. To continue the success of the Sentra, Nissan has refreshed the 2016 model.
Nissan chose to redesign the exterior to mirror the look and feel of the 2016 Nissan Maxima. This includes grille fenders, hood and signature boomerang-shaped headlights and taillights, front and rear fascias, and 17” aluminum-alloy wheels. The interior was revamped as well. Key features include a new steering wheel, power driver’s seat, new audio display design, refined seat fabrics, and a new console and shifter knob.

The 2016 Nissan Titan XD adds to its impressive repertoire of awards with the selection from the editors at AutoGuides.com for “2016 Truck of the Year.” The editors applauded its impressive engine and heavy-duty ability, while noting the ease of use and comfort it offers. Some of the notable features on the Titan XD include a 310 horsepower 5.0L V8 Turbo Diesel Engine, which can generate a “brawny 555 lb-ft of torque” and a maximum towing capacity of over 12,300 pounds.
