This recognition was bestowed on this model following a detailed review that Kiplinger’s conducted on this and hundreds of other new models as research for their annual Buyer’s Guide. All new models were evaluated and given a ranking for their price, driving impressions, performance value and safety.
The 2015 Nissan Murano has been designed with a range of convenience and advanced driver assist features that include Oversized Power Moonroof, NissanConnectSM with Navigation and Mobile Apps, Around View® Monitor, Advanced NASA-inspired Zero Gravity front and outboard rear seating, Blind Spot Warning (BSW), 8-inch color display with multi-touch control, Moving Object Detection (MOD), Forward Emergency Braking (FEB), Around Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), 11-speaker Bose® premium audio system, Predictive Forward Collision Warning (PFCW) and Nissan Intelligent Key® with Push Button Ignition.
Performance features include A low 0.31 Cd drag coefficient and a 260 hp 3.5L DOHC V6 engine paired with an Advanced Xtronic Transmission.
