There are many facts that make the 2017 Nissan Pathfinder such an incredible vehicle including its large amount of cargo space, first-rate safety features and technologies, style, performance and so much more. The 2017 Nissan Maxima has been designed to offer power and excitement while still providing drivers with the safe and comfortable sedan that they need. Nissan has declared 2016 to be the “Year of the Truck” and that’s why there have been many new additions to their award-winning pickup lineup. For starters, they will be releasing a new half-ton TITAN powered by a 390-horsepower 5.6-liter Endurance® V8 engine. They will also be releasing first-of-a-kind Single Cab option for the TITAN and TITAN XD sometime this fall, and the later a King Cab option will make it’s debut. The most recent announcement is that the diesel and gasoline-powered 2017 Nissan TITAN V8 vehicles 2017 and the gasoline-powered TITAN XD vehicles will be covered by “America’s Best Truck Warranty”*! This warranty will be included to the Crew and Single Cab models in both 4×4 and 4×2. The coverage includes 5-years/100,000-miles bumper-to-bumper coverage along with basic and powertrain coverage.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has given the 2017 Nissan Pathfinder a highest-possible 5-star overall vehicle safety rating following their evaluation of this model in their New Car Assessment Program (NCAP).
“This latest Pathfinder is designed to be everything customers want in a family adventure vehicle,” said Michael Bunce, vice president, product planning, Nissan North America. “Pathfinder delivers a safe and secure driving experience that is now augmented with our Nissan Safety Shield suite of technologies.”
The 2017 Nissan Pathfinder will be released this fall and it will come standard with safety features such as Roof-Mounted Supplemental Curtain Air Bags, Nissan Advanced Air Bag System, Intelligent Cruise Control, Vehicle Dynamic Control and Traction Control System, Forward Emergency Braking, Supplemental Front Seat-Mounted Side-Impact Air Bags, LATCH System, and Child Safety Rear Door Locks.
This model is offered in either 2WD or 4WD and with available features such as Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Blind Spot Warning, and Around View® Monitor with Moving Object Detection.

Nissan Versa Note Is Perfect For Back-to-School
Kelley Blue Book’s KBB.com has released their annual list of the “10 Best Back-to-School Cars” and for the second straight year the Nissan Versa Note has been included on the list. The criteria for inclusion on this list is simple, a vehicle has to be safe and stylish and also be offered with a starting MSRP no higher than $20,000.
The 2016 Nissan Versa Note is available in five trim levels that are all powered by a 1.6-Liter DOHC 16-Valve 4-Cylinder Engine. This engine is paired with one of two transmission options, either a 5-Speed Manual Transmission or the available Nissan Xtronic Transmission. This model also has a starting MSRP of $14,230*.

July Sales Released For Nissan Division
The Nissan Division has announced their sales results for the month of July and it looks as though the brand has set a new sales record for the month with the total up two percent to reach a final result of 132,475 units. The Rogue had a rather successful month, achieving a new record with sales up 33 percent to reach 33,298 units. The Rogue was also the overall best-seller for the Nissan Division last month while the Frontier had the best year-over-year increase of 72.7 percent, ending the month with 7,244 units sold.
Additional July Results:
- Murano sales increased 15 percent to reach 6,271 units
- Titan sales increased 1.5 percent with 1,143 units
- 370Z sales increased 7.3 percent to reach 722 units
- NV200 sales reached 1,480 units
- Maxima sales increased 44 percent to reach 5,990 units
- Sentra sales reached 18,536 units
- Versa sales increased 19 percent with 11,856

The results of the 2016 U.S. Automotive, Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL)™ Study have been announced and three Nissan models ranked highly in their respective segments. The 2016 Nissan Titan was named to the top of the Large Light Duty Pickup segment with a score of 867 points, the Maxima was named to the top of the Large Car segment with a score of 857 points, and the Altima claimed the number two spot in the Midsize Car segment with a score of 824 points.
“It is gratifying to see three vehicles that are either all-new or redesigned receive such high marks from customers,” said Christian Meunier, senior vice president, Sales & Marketing and Operations, U.S.A., Nissan North America, Inc. “And along with our best-selling sedans and crossovers, Nissan is providing more options as we launch the ‘Year of the Truck’ with our all-new TITAN and TITAN XD trucks.”
This annual study is based on owner evaluations of their vehicles after the first 90 days of ownership. The owners evaluate their vehicle within 77 different attributes and the results for each model are combined together to determine an overall score based on a 1,000-point scale.
